OkConnectPay from Adelante offers a range of virtual terminals that allow you to take credit and debit card payments over the phone. For Desktop and Laptop computers card data can be entered into a browser-based application that is included with your ConnectPay account. If you want to use a smartphone or tablet there are a range of ConnectPay applications that can be downloaded from the appropriate App store and are designed to make this process as simple and secure as possible.
For companies who wish to use Virtual Terminals in their call centre ConnectPay has a utility that allows the card entry process to be removed from the scope of PCIDSS. This can be used as a stand-alone application or integrated with your existing CRM or sales processing software.
How a Virtual Terminal works
Once you have logged into your ConnectPay account all you need to do to process a payment is enter the transaction amount, card details, a unique reference number (your own reference number) and then click 'Confirm'. The payment is submitted to the banking network using industry standard encryption. The bank will authorise the transaction and return an auth code to confirm it was successful. You and your customers can be assured that processing payments on a virtual terminal is fast and secure.
ConnectPay records details of all Virtual Terminal transactions processed on your account. Transaction details are stored in the ConnectPay Management Portal, included free with your ConnectPay account.
