Driver Payments

Credit and debit card payments made through TaxiPay are processed on the TaxiPay credit card merchant account. This means that you do not need to pay to set up your own credit card account and are not subject to the minimum transaction volumes typically imposed by the banks and other credit card system providers.

Any transactions processed on your account between a Monday morning and Sunday night are automatically added up by our automated billing system. The total of your transactions less the 6.5% surcharge are then transferred into the bank account of your choice using the BACs payment system. This payment process takes place on the Friday following your weeks transactions and you receive your money on the Tuesday after that. This is between and 8 and 15 days after you take the card payment depending on what day the card was processed.

If you elect to impose a surcharge of more than 6.5% for your credit card transactions the additional money will be included with in the BACs transfer. 

As a TaxiPay user you are also able to login to an online account to view your transaction history, process telephone booking payments and reconcile the payments you receive from TaxiPay.
