TaxiPay is a credit and debit card payment solution designed specifically for owner drivers. Alternative taxi or
private hire credit card processing solutions have always proved expensive and as a result owner drivers
have rarely offered credit card payment facilities to their customers. For the first time a solution is available that is
free for drivers to operate, easy to set-up, and simple to use.
Not only is the TaxiPay software free to drivers, there is also no
requirement to get a credit card account
from their bank. Instead drivers use the TaxiPay system which submits card transactions to the bank on your behalf.
So how is this possible? The TaxiPay software runs on your own mobile phone or PDA. There is also a virtual terminal allowing you
accept credit card payments for bookings made over the phone. These can be
processed using your own computer and offer the facility to print or email
receipts for your customers. TaxiPay is a software product. This means there is no expensive hardware
to purchase and operate. Instead the TaxiPay software adds a surcharge to every transaction of 6.5%. Owner drivers can
elect to pass the surcharge onto their customers, making the software completely
free for them to operate. Drivers can also elect to charge a higher surcharge and keep the difference.
This means you can earn more money from a card card payments than than from
conventional cash jobs.
Now you are asking what the catch is? Well, there isn’t one. Once your FREE
account is set-up, there are no monthly charges, no minimum transaction volumes
and you can close your account at a moments notice. Over 2000 drivers

If you are a fleet operator TaxiPay may well not be the ideal product for you. Instead you should consider our
