Will I have to buy a new mobile phone?
Probably not,  MobilePOS can run on most phones including most standard phones, Blackberry's, iPhones, Android phones and PDAs running Windows Mobile version 5 and 6.  The Windows Mobile 7 version is currently in development. Some older phones will not support the security requirements demanded by the banks.  If this is the case it is possible to buy a Pay as You Go phone that will work for around £20

Is the merchant account the same as my business account?
No, A merchant account is a special account allowing you to process credit and debit card payments. If you already have a merchant account MobilePOS will connect to this.

What if I do not have a merchant account?
Adelante can help you obtain an account through our banking partners. This will collect credit card funds and pay them into your existing business bank account.
