iPhone-POS

Designed for the Apple iPhone and available in the App Store the iPhone version of the MobilePOS system allows users to process credit and debit card payments by using their iPhone as a virtual payment terminal. The application prompts you for the information required such as credit card number, expiry date, security code, transaction amount etc. Once the application has collected the required information it connects to the MobilePOS payment server using a secure and encrypted SSL connection and submits the payment request to your bank. The bank process the payment and then display the results on the iPhone.

Neither the iPhone application or the MobilePOS server store your customers credit and debit card details and both conform to the PCIDSS security standards required by the banks. MobilePOS for the iPhone is free for all MobilePOS account holders and allows merchants to take payments on the move when access to their computer is unavailable. .

It is also possible to integrate third party iPhone applications that require a credit and debit card processing facility into MobilePOS by using the free API provided as part of the MobilePOS product range.
